Jal Manthan (Deep Discussion on Water Conservation) on World Environment Day
On the occasion of the before evening of World Environment Day 2017, Environment and Social Development Association (ESDA) was organized a program on “Deep Discussion on Water Conservation” on the theme of “Jal Manthan” to conversation on the solution of water crises & its pollution in Delhi-NCR on June 4, 2017 at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra, Administrative building, Noida Authority, Sector-6, Noida, Gautambudha Nagar, U.P. Dr. Jitendra K Nagar (General Secretary of ESDA) was the program Convener and Mr. Ravindra Kasana (ALO, Noida Authority & Secretary, U.P. Executive Committee of ESDA) was the program Co-Convener.
Shri Tirath Singh Rawat (National Secretary, BJP and Hon’ble Ex-Education Minister of Uttarakhand) was preside this program. Indian youth leader Shri Pankaj Singh (Hon’ble MLA of Noida) was the chief guest and Thakur Dhirendra Singh (Hon’ble MLA of Jewar), Shri Nawab Singh Nagar (Hon’ble Ex-Minister of U.P.) and Shri Tejpal Singh (Hon’ble MLA of Dadri), Shri B. N. Singh (Hon’ble District Magistrate of Gautambudh Nagar), Dr. V. K. Shekar, IPS (DIG, Jail, Meerut Zone, U.P.), Shri M. L. Yadav (Superintendent, GB Nagar Jail) and Shri U. P. Singh (Deputy Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra, GB Nagar, U.P.) were the guests of honor in this program. Swami Darshan Bharti (Founder, Uttarakhand State Movement), Shri V. P. Yadav (Additional Director, Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi), Green man Dr. Suresh Deshwal (Head, Department of Geography, Government College, Ambala, Haryana), Major Roop Singh Nagar (Jail Visiter and National Executive Officer of ESDA), and Dr. A. K. Verma (Assistant Professor of Government PG College, Saidabad, Allahabad) were the main speakers in this seminar. A Nukkad-Natak was played by the artist of National School of Drama, Delhi on the conservation of Rivers.
This program was organized with association of different organization or association of Gautambudh Nagar such as Federation of Noida Resident Welfare Association (FONRWA), Evergreen Federation of RWA Greater Noida, All sectors & societies RWAs of Noida & Greater Noida, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Noida Lokmanch, G-One, Noida Vyapari Welfare Association, Lions club of Noida, Association of Greater Noida Industries, Jao Ho, Shri Mansha Foundation, Pragatisheel Jan Andolan, Yog Bharti Ashram Trust, Crime Free India, Arya Samaj, Navratan Noida, Grameen Krishi and Gram Panchayat of Gautambudha Nagar and It was supported by Uflix Ventures, Prakash Hospital Noida, URS Certification, Noida Entrepreneur Association and Ishita Travels Pvt. Ltd.
About 540 residents of Noida & Greater Noida, office bearer of RWAs & Gram Panchayat, environmentalists, social activists, advocates, civil society’s or NGO representatives and ESDA offices bearers & volunteers were participated in this program and benefited to learn about water conservation. This was very successful program of awareness regarding water conservation. All participants take oath to protect & save our water resources and conservation of nature.
