Environment and Social Development Association (ESDA) Delhi was organized grand successfully its 5th ESDACON 2021 (annual International Conference of ESDA) as 2nd World Environment Summit 2021 (Conference & Awards) on 1st – 3rd October 2021 at India International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi (India). The WES 2021 was organized in collaboration with CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, University of Delhi, IGNOU New Delhi, GRC India, Amity University Haryana, GD Goenka University Gurugram, Sharda University Greater Noida, AAJ New Delhi, National Environmental Science Academy (NESA) Delhi, Save the Environment Kolkata, MSMECCII, Global Foundation and in foreign partnership with Australian National University.

About 1000 delegates including academicians, scientists, medical doctors, policymakers, technocrats, stakeholders, research scholars, environmentalists, educationists, journalists, social activists, civil societies, industrial representatives and students across the World participated in this summit. The Conference was organized successfully under the leadership of the Organizing Secretary Dr. Jitendra K Nagar, General Secretary, Environment and Social Development Association (ESDA India) with the presence of more than 90 speakers, chair & co-chairs, 253 paper presenters (125 oral and 128 posters), 100 Volunteers and 600 delegates from 20 Sates of India and 6 foreign countries. ,

The Valedictory session and ESDA Green Award Ceremony 2021was organized on 3rd October 2021 at India International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. Dr. Anil Praksh Joshi, ,Padma Bhushan awardee and Founder, HESCO, Dehradun was participated as a Chief Guest. Prof. P. B. Sharma , (Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Haryana, Gurugram), Prof. Raj Kumar , (Director, Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, University of Delhi), Ms. Diksha Bhandari IFS , (Divisional Director, Social Forestry Division, Ghaziabad) and Dr. B.B.L. Madhukar , (Director General, BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry) participated as Guest of Honor in the Valedictory Session of WES 2021. The ESDA Society conferred ESDA Green Awards 2021 to 57 people from different parts of India and abroad for their outstanding and remarkable contributions in their professional fields. In the last, The Organizing Secretary of WES 2021 Dr. Jitendra K Nagar, (General Secretary, ESDA India) delivered the vote of thanks.
