Guidelines of Membership

ESDA is an open platform of people of the world who want to work as an Academician, Activist, Executive Member, Office Bearer, Scientist, Advisor, Volunteer and Sympathizer on environmental and social issues of the globe. Anyone may be member of the Society (ESDA) from any part of the world. There is not any discrimination based on religion, caste, area, sex, language and color. Any major individual of sound mind and integrity with age more than 18 years having unflinching faith in the aims and objectives of the society can become its Life/Patron/Special Patron Member enjoying voting rights.

Any person of remarkable achievement in any field of knowledge, creativity, performance, work or service subscribing to the aims and objectives of the society may be enrolled as an Honorary Member of the Society without paying any fee. Such members may attend important meetings of the G. B. and offer suggestions at times.

ESDA welcome to all peoples of the world who want to join their hands together to fulfill the aims and objectives of the Society. Members may also fulfill your dream to be an Environmental Activist, Academician, Social Worker and Leader of the Society by joining ESDA. Members may be executive member or office bearer of the National Executive Committee, State Chapters and District Environmental Centre (DEC) of ESDA. Foreign members may be executive member or office bearer of International Executive Committee or International Chapter of the ESDA.

Persons or institutions or organizations desirous of being enrolled as members shall apply to the General Secretary giving their particulars on a prescribed membership form with application. The Governing Body shall deal with all kinds of such application and grant membership by a majority decision. The Governing Body reserves to itself the right to accept, continue or deny membership to any individual, institution or organization without assigning any reason whatsoever and its decision shall be final.

Note 2: You may also send your soft copy of filled membership form by email on esda2004@gmail.com with attachments of photograph and address proof after online submitting of the payments.

Any member of the society who works against the interests, objectives and reputation of the society (ESDA) will cease to be its membership. The Governing Body has full power to take such decision.A member of the society including a founder member shall cease to be a membership of the society if

• He/ She die, resign, become of unsound mind, become insolvent or is convicted of a criminal offence.
• He/ She do not attend three consecutive meetings of the Society/G.B. However, if he/she submits or sends prior written information to the President or General Secretary mentioning proper reason for his/her absence, his/her membership may be continued.
• He/ She fail to pay the subscription or dues to the society continuously for three months after the due date.

A member may resign from the membership of the Society any time by a letter addressed to the General Secretary. The G.B. shall have full powers to accept such resignations. There shall not be restoration of membership after termination.
