Seminar on Protection of Mother Earth on 22 April 2017 at Ghaziabad Public School
Environment and Social Development Association (ESDA) was celebrated Earth Day with children of Ghaziabad and organized a seminar on “Protection of mother Earth by public awareness” with association of Ghaziabad Public School (GPS) on 22 April 2017 at auditorium of Ghaziabad Public School, Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad. An Environmentalist Dr. Jitendra K Nagar (General Secretary of ESDA) was the chief speaker and preside the program. Shri Arun Kumar Gupta/PCS (Joint Commissioner, Nagar Nigam Ghaziabad) and Ms. Rachna Singh PCS (District Horticulture Inspector, Ghaziabad) were the chief guests in this seminar. Dr. Gyanendra Singh (Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, MMH College, Ghaziabad), Mr. Madan Panchal (Buero Chief, Dainik Prabhat News Paper) and Dr. Saroj Sirohi (Social activist & MD, Om Medical Center, Ghaziabad) were the guest of honor in this program. Mrs. Krishna Yadav (Director, GPS) was patron and Major Roop Singh Nagar (Jail Visitor & National Executive Officer, ESDA) was Co-Patron of the program. Dr. Milan Yadav (Principal, GPS) was Convener and Mrs. Mamta Gupta (U.P. Secretary, ESDA) was Co-Convener of the program.
About 300 school children and 100 other residents of Ghaziabad were participated in this program and benefited about environmental education. School children presented many environmental awareness based program and made posters, crafts, write slogan & essay. This was very successful program of awareness regarding save mother earth. All participants take oath to protect our mother earth and planted more & more trees. In the end of program, 20 plants were planted in the school by the guests and faculties of the school.
